Babysitting Course

Every parent wants their child to have the best babysitter they can find! If you are between the ages of 11 and 17, then this course was designed for you! Whether you are “new” to babysitting or just want to perfect your skills, this course will provide you with the preparation you need to become a responsible, competent babysitter.

Our training program will include:

-What makes a great babysitter?
-Who, What, Where and How?
-What do I need to know?
-Talk to your parents too!
-What about safety?
-Are all children good?
-What is Shaken Baby Syndrome?
-Time to eat!
-How do I change a diaper?
-Should I give a bath?
-How do I get them to sleep?
-How do I market myself?
-Creating a baby monitor with your cell phone.
-Different developmental ages and appropriate play for each age.
-First aid basics for children, and more!

Each student will also receive:

Certificate of Completion from Stork Solutions Babysitting Training Class

“First Aid for Children” booklet from the American Heart Association

American Heart Association Card stating you completed the basic orientation to First Aid for Children.

Babysitting is all about responsibility. Make sure you have the skills to know that the children you are caring for are not only happy, but they’re safe too!

We will come to your home for the training!
$35 per student. Minimum of 6 people per class.
